I’m lucky enough to be a Literacy Coach with New Tech Network, which focuses on creating schools where students are the agents of their own learning.  I see literacy as an essential part of our endeavor.  After teaching everything from 5th grade reading to 11th grade dual high school and college credit classes, I’m really excited to work with teachers in all subject areas.  This blog is a space to highlight some great resources and discuss important trends and happenings in the worlds of teaching reading and writing and digital literacy through inquiry and Project Based Learning.  You can also follow me on Twitter- @HortonAlix.
